The gold pieces are specially crafted from stainless steel, and have been Physical Vapor Deposition or PVD coated. PVD coatings are much thicker and longer lasting than standard plating methods. In fact, all the stainless steel jewelry you see at Mojo is authentic PVD! It's one of our favorite and most recommended products for permanent jewelry due to it's longevity and sustainability.
