Use the Nancy 24ga 2.3mm jump ring for a tight closure on both the three-and-one and beaded chains. For a stronger, bolder seam, the Ada 20ga 3mm works well with the textured marquise and three-and-one chains. The Karina 22ga 2.3mm provides a more blended look for the textured marquise. Finally the Bree 20ga 4mm jump ring is the best standard fit for the figaro chain, though for the permanent jewelry look without a clasp, we suggest Ada 20ga 3mm.
*It's important to know that unfinished chains are final sale and cannot be returned once we cut it from the spool for your order.
Maker Tips
First, decide how many necklaces you want to make. You need at least 2 feet for one necklace. Next, select the clasp, jump rings, and pliers from our supplies section if you need them. When you get your package, use wire cutters to cut the chain to your desired length. Next, connect a jump ring to one end of the chain by twisting it open and closed with pliers. Lastly, connect a clasp to the other end of the chain with a jump ring. - Chain is sold in 12 inch lengths (1 foot), as one continuous strand.
